With no hint of irony, Brexit Party have announced that 52% of a vote is not enough, in reference to the new EC President, Ursula Von Der Leyer.
With this news, we are expecting the Brexit Party to stand down as MEPs, and agree to re-run the membership of the EU referendum, as they also won their one and only mandate with a result of just under 52% back in 2016.
However, our source inside the Brexit Party’s wallets tells us that this won’t be happening any time soon.
“They’re enjoying freedom of movement across the EU and being paid tens of thousands to act like spoilt little s##ts“, said our anonymous source earlier, “of course they’re not going to give it up.”
“I mean, you’d think they would. Either way, we’re going to need to trade with the EU; they’re the largest economy in the world, and they’re right on our doorstep. Pissing them off by sending them 50-80 year old toddlers isn’t really going to make them give us favourable terms in any trade deals.”
We previously agreed not to do any Farage satire after last time, but damn, this s##t writes itself.
